Annotations:
Peace education is multidimensional and holistic in its content and process. It is comprised of many themes that have evolved in various parts of the world and reflects its comprehensiveness and the growth of progressive education and social movements in the last several decades. Among these various forms/branches of peace education are those mentioned above and in addition- education for international understanding, multicultural education, global education.
