In the context of the social tensions between Syrian refugees and Jordanians, Generations for Peace has been successful in empowering youth to solve conflict peacefully through its use of pedagogies including collaboration, participation, and sustainability.
The United Nations Alliance Of Civilisations’ Young Peacebuilders programme supports youth leaders in gaining peacebuilding skills while bringing visibility to their actions and projects towards promotion of diversity and dialogue.
The program, offered by the Berghof Foundation in cooperation with Relief International, offers a combination of methods from peace education, theatre pedagogics, mindfulness and self-care for Syrians volunteers working for various international organizations if Jordan refugee camps.
