“Earthaluliah”: Let us Resolve to Save Earth

One primary Global Campaign for Peace Education resolution for the New Year is to focus mind, action, and spirit (that inner energy all of us tap into when acting to realize primary human values) on saving our planet. To fulfill that resolution we, as peace educators, assert that we must learn to think and behave in entirely new ways.

A Day to Reflect on Peace Education and the Earth Crisis

The environment, along with nuclear weapons, now looms as an existential threat to the survival of humanity. We hope that peace educators will observe World Environment Day by reflecting on how this issue relates to and impacts the curricula and pedagogy of their respective approaches to peace education.

War and the Environment (Online Course)

Grounded in research on peace and ecological security, this online course by World BEYOND War focuses on the relationship between two existential threats: war and environmental catastrophe. (Jan 17 – Feb 27, 2022)
