ANGEL Conference 2023 (June 19-20) aims to bring together interested parties from all backgrounds for two exciting days of sessions showcasing and discussing research, projects, and new developments connected to Global Education and Learning or Global Citizenship Education, and other related fields such as Development Education, Human Rights Education, Education for Sustainable Development, Education for Peace, and Intercultural Education.
The environment, along with nuclear weapons, now looms as an existential threat to the survival of humanity. We hope that peace educators will observe World Environment Day by reflecting on how this issue relates to and impacts the curricula and pedagogy of their respective approaches to peace education.

The McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies of the University of Massachusetts-Boston, FLACSO-Ecuador, and the Center for Mediation, Peace, and Resolution of Conflict (CEMPROC) are pleased to announce the second annual Summer Institute on Conflict Transformation Across Borders will take place from June 5-24, 2016 in Quito, Ecuador at FLACSO, with graduate-level credit issued by UMass Boston. The program will focus on conflict and peace in border regions.
