The directory is intended to be a go-to bibliographic resource as well as a tool for use in teacher training in peace education. The complementary memes are tools to help spread awareness of peace education through thought provoking quotes.

Quotes should have direct relevance to peace education* reflecting perspectives that inform policy, pedagogy, theory or practice. (Future calls for quotes will be more open – however at this stage we are emphasizing quotes specific to peace education.)

All quotes submitted will be reviewed by our team of volunteer editors. Once approved, the quote will be added to the directory and our team will prepare an artistic meme for easy distribution via social media.
When submitting quotes please be sure to gather basic reference information (author and name of the source are required). The more information you can provide the more useful the entry will be (page number, url, etc). We also invite short annotations or explanatory notes to give some context for the quote and its relevance to peace educators.
