Scholarships available to study MA in Peace Education at the University for Peace

The MA Programme in Peace Education at the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica has been selected for the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) for students from ‘developing’ countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries’ development efforts.

A JJ/WBGSP scholarship provides tuition, a monthly living stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and travel allowance.

To apply for a scholarship, students:

1. meet eligibility criteria (see World Bank site)
2. on or before the scholarship application deadline (April 23), have been admitted unconditionally (except for funding) for the upcoming academic year to the Peace Education Programme at UPEACE (see UPEACE site)
3. and submit one online scholarship application (see World Bank site)
