The MA Programme in Peace Education at the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica has been selected for the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) for students from ‘developing’ countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries’ development efforts.
A JJ/WBGSP scholarship provides tuition, a monthly living stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and travel allowance.
To apply for a scholarship, students:
- meet eligibility criteria (see World Bank site)
- on or before the scholarship application deadline (April 23), have been admitted unconditionally (except for funding) for the upcoming academic year to the Peace Education Programme at UPEACE (see UPEACE site)
- and submit one online scholarship application (see World Bank site)
