Launching a National Campaign for Peace Education in Cameroon

Cameroon Peace Foundation Association, with the support of the Global Campaign for Peace Education, is launching a National Campaign for Peace Education in Cameroon. The purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness about the possibilities and strategies to a return to peace in a divided Cameroon.

This Campaign will launch in Buea, the chief town of the South West Region of Cameroon, on February 28, 2019.  Participants will gather in Bongo Square at 10:00am.

Campaign launch activities will include:

  1. Gathering of Participants and distribution of t-shirts
  2. A short talk on the need for peace and living together
  3. A peace march from Bongo Square to UB junction Molyko
  4. Distribution of flyers
  5. A peace education workshop
  6. Photographs, refreshment & announcements
