As mission, it seeks to set up a fair, peaceful, and just society by promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable people especially indigenous, youth, children and women. Thus ICIRORE C'AMAHORO ASBL (ICCA asbl) is connected to the noble cause of peace in its activities (conflict sensinsitivity) in order to prevent the relaps into conflict or be the source of conflict. It educates Burundians to peace and conflict management mecanims. |
| Endorsement Quote | ICCA asbl is endorsing the Global Campaign for Peace Education because its foundation resulted in seeking to establish everlasting peace in the Great Lakes Region. In addition, ICCA asbl experienced war and recurrent series of crisis /civil wars in the Great Region of Africa and the setbacks they had on these nations and community members. It wants therefore to be part of this campaign in order to forster its goals of preventing wars and instability but also let other learn from its experience in order to let them discover how wars and lack of peace are worst ,thus leading them avoid any action that can destroy peace. |
