EMU seeks Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor of Restorative Justice

The Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) Center for Justice and Peacebuilding (CJP) invites applications for one (1) full-time, Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor one-year (Fall 2021 and Spring 2022) faculty appointment. The faculty member will contribute to our Masters of Restorative Justice (MARJ), Masters in Conflict Transformation (MACT), and Masters in Transformational Leadership (MATL) programs. Applicants with credentials appropriate to Assistant or Associate Professor rank will be given full consideration. Required specializations for this position include peace, conflict, and justice studies with academic expertise and applied experience in restorative justice. The strongest candidates will demonstrate knowledge of racial justice and trauma healing as crucial factors in restorative justice work. This 9-month position begins August 15, 2021, and ends May 15, 2022. The successful applicant is welcome to apply for tenure track jobs at CJP and EMU. Courses for 2021-2022 are being taught in hybrid, online, and in-person formats. Whether the successful applicant moves to Harrisonburg, Virginia is negotiable.
