Guidelines for submissions

The GCPE monthly newsletter features news articles, reports, events, publications, and jobs related to peace education. Please review the following critieria before submitting.

Relevance: The most important criteria for inclusion in the newsletter is relevance. We seek to feature articles that demonstrate how the field of peace education is growing and developing around the world. Before submitting a potential contribution, please ask yourself if your submission is clearly related to education for peace. Peace education is a broad field comprising work and research in a number of related sub-fields of education including human rights, disarmament, gender, conflict, nonviolence, etc.

Submit a short synopsis: In general, the GCPE newsletter does not publish original articles. For space and diversity reasons we prefer to provide links and short summaries of articles and events already published or featured elsewhere on the web. If you have an article you would like to share that is not already published please contact us to discuss options. When submitting a link to previously published news article please provide a summary in your own words that makes clear the article's relevance to peace education.
