FTX Atlantic Promise 2017

The Forage Center will offer FTX Atlantic Promise full-scale 4-day field training exercise March 16-19, 2017.  The exercise recreates the challenges and conditions professionals encounter in complex emergencies characterized by conflict, disaster, and humanitarian need. During the exercise, students, acting as members of a non-governmental organization, will engage in intensive negotiations, humanitarian assistance, peacebuilding assessment, and human rights advocacy as part of a scenario based on a realistic conflict or humanitarian crisis.
FTX Atlantic Promise will be held in and around the City of Fellsmere, Florida.  The city, and Operation Hope, a Fellsmere-based service organization, are hosting the Forage Center.

Registration is now open. Only students from previously designated graduate programs can enroll.  Please confirm that your program is participating before enrolling.

There are two parts to enrollment:

1.    Completion of the registration form
2.    Payment of the fee of $625 through Pay Pal

Once enrollment is completed and payment made, more details on the exercise will be provided.
