Over the years, the Blossom Hill Foundation has supported organizations that engage and empower war-affected youth, thereby helping to prepare a new generation of leaders in the reconstruction of their lives.

Now more than ever, children in war-affected regions urgently need the opportunities that the Blossom Hill Foundation nurtures. This year the Blossom Hill Foundation is launching a fellowship program to fund social entrepreneurs with bold ideas for breaking the cycle of violence that so often plagues youth in the Middle East. With this initiative, we are excited to support a new generation of emerging leaders who want to implement innovative solutions within and/or for the advancement of their own war-affected communities – for this we need investment.  Our vision is for these solutions to be generated and spearheaded by those who understand the situation the best – the young women and men who understand the multi-generational impact of war and are committed to creating a bright future.

Our Vision: A world where war-affected youth from the Middle East play a leadership role in breaking the cycle of violence for the next generation.

Our Mission: The Blossom Hill Foundation supports innovative leadership for Middle East youth by investing in the bold ideas of social entrepreneurs who are committed to improving the lives of their communities and crafting a bright future.

The Fellowship

The Blossom Hill Foundation offers a one-year fellowship of up to $10,000 to youth social entrepreneurs who take a genuine and innovative approach to carry out a bold idea aimed at positively impacting war-affected Middle Eastern communities – either in-country or displaced due to conflict – by developing a project, program or product for social good in their communities. The application process will include a comprehensive vetting process, including 1) a thorough review of the proposed project; 2) submission and approval of the project budget; and 3) an in-depth interview with all final candidates.

All those interested in applying for the 2016 Blossom Hill Foundation Fellowship Program should download the full application here.  Completed applications are due May 15, 2016.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.
